Root Cause Healing & Modern Medicine

While Modern Medicine has been phenomenal in the diagnosis, management and treatment of various conditions and illnesses that once meant death, they have not yet deeply explored the hypothesis of emotional problems being the root cause of physical problems.

My intuition says the day will come when this aspect will also be explored in depth – in the way they like to do it, being through and systematic. And when the hypothesis proves itself as true, it will be absorbed as fact. It will become a part of medicine.

As unrealistic as it seems in today’s context, we need to have the courage to dream BIG. We may only be sowing the seeds but who knows how things will be a century or two from now? Our job is only to do what can within the constraints of today’s reality.

Those of us who have faced major health problems KNOW in our bones that this hypothesis of root cause healing is true. It is so very evident to us. But for it to become mainstream, it must be understood, researched and accepted among the masses. It requires more time and Collective Shifts to happen.

There are several reasons Modern Medicine may not yet have thought of exploring the realm of Root Cause Healing and I shall outline a few here.

  1. We need to be prepared for this as a Collective. Not every patient who goes to the hospital is looking at healing the root cause of their illness. In fact, most patients may think the medical system is bonkers if they start preaching root cause healing.
  2. The focus of Modern Medicine has been on tackling more pressing problems – like treating snake bites, rabies, vaccinations to manage the spread of viral and bacterial infections (with the eradication of small pox being its biggest success story), emergency and elective surgeries to treat conditions that may have taken lives mercilessly in the past, effective management of high risk pregnancies leading to a huge drop in infant and maternal mortality, effective medical management of conditions like hypertension and diabetes that can be ruthless when left untreated, treating heart attacks and strokes, treating cancer, finding cures for cancer and the list goes on. This is a LOT!!!  And a LOT of this progress has happened mostly just over the last few decades.
  3. When enough has been done to take care of the physical manifestation of illnesses and we know we are well equipped to manage all kinds of crises, there may be a pause. And some breathing space may be found in which to the thought of exploring other dimensions of healing may emerge. Those of us on the energy healing path have jumped several steps ahead and are expecting this level of foresight and understanding from everyone! Not everyone is ready for such leaps. Most people just want their physical problems to be treated. But as awareness levels rise and consciousness shifts, these changes will be reflected in all areas of life. So, we just have be patient and wait for the day when this level of understanding is present in the Collective. It may not be in this lifetime at all. But who cares? Why be so attached to the end result? We just sow the seeds and allow Higher Wisdom to do the rest. We don’t have to make anything happen.

Please Note: Healing the root cause of an illness is not the same as curing the illness. Many of us may be aware of the root cause of a particular health problem and yet we may need medical intervention to heal fully. This article is no way denies the role of medical advice and attention. In case of any illness, medical advice must be sought.
